Terms of engagement.

These are the standard terms for a Vellero engagement. A signed scope document for each individual project may override specific terms here — in that case the signed scope takes precedence.

Quotes and scope

Quotes are fixed-price unless otherwise stated. Scope is defined in writing before a project begins. Changes to scope are either absorbed within the care-plan monthly allowance (small changes) or quoted separately (anything larger).

Payment

50% on signed scope to begin. 50% on launch. For larger builds, three instalments can be arranged. Invoices are issued in Australian dollars. GST is not currently applicable (sole-trader, under GST threshold) — this will update if and when Vellero is GST-registered.

Ownership

On final payment, all build artefacts — code, content drafts, design files — transfer to you. Domain is yours. Google Business Profile is under your account. No ongoing licence fees.

Care plans

Care plans are month-to-month. Thirty days’ notice to cancel either side. Scope of included work is defined on the care-plan service page at the time of signing.

Liability

Vellero is not liable for consequential loss arising from site downtime, third-party platform changes, or SEO ranking fluctuations. We work to minimise all of these but cannot guarantee any specific search ranking, traffic volume, or commercial outcome.
